Cruz'isms

So, the other day at work, I was with a friend I hadn't seen in about 2 weeks. The first thing he asked me was, "tell me the latest Cruz'isms!?" Meaning, he wanted to hear the latest story about crazy Cruz. He's always telling me that I should be writing this stuff down somewhere. They're so precious! So here goes:

1. This may be TMI, but, I was wearing "non" granny panties...if you get my drift...and we woke up in the morning and were walking to the bathroom when all of a sudden I hear Cruz yell, "MOM! What is stuck in your butt!!??" It was the most hilarious thing I'd heard in a while, but still, was shocked nonetheless. Too funny!

2. A few weeks ago, for about 3 days straight, all that he wanted to tell me was that he was so proud and happy to be Shiloh's big brother. It was quite possibly the sweetest conversations ever!

3. Yesterday he told me that his belly button is the one who tells him when he needs to go poop. And, when he's finished. Seems the belly button is doing a fine job. He's only had one accident since FINALLY pooping on the toilet. Man, that was quite the journey! Anyhow he has quite an imagination if you ask me. He's one fun little boy and every day is new and hilarious!

This girl has our hearts indeed! Including Cruz. He is constantly asking about her, if she's ok, is she hungry, do we need to change her diaper, she needs a nap. It's pretty constant, but pretty sweet nonetheless. She's army crawling all over the place at the moment. A little quicker with things than Cruz was. I'm sure most 2nd children just wanna catch up asap! She's a great baby, a wonderful sleeper, and virtually happy all of the time. We are certainly lucky. I'm the WORST blogger!!

If you're like me, it's not easy to finally get the chance to get on the computer with two small children. It is easy to get off track, you know, like online shopping or a little bit of facebooking. Anyway, I'm gonna shoot for one blog a week, and am hoping to follow through on that. I will be happy to look back and be so glad that I did it. Anyhoo, it's already the end of January, and my life has changed SO much. Cruz turned THREE week before my last blog! So, here's to resolutions, and to blogging!

Side by Side Comparison

Just for fun, I've been looking at pictures of Cruz, following Shiloh's same age to see how much they do OR don't look alike. I think they look very different! Looks like their cute little mouths and chin area look similar though. Enjoy...I'll try and post these once a month or so. They are both about 16 weeks in these pix.

Summertime Randomness

This is usually how his naps have been going this summer...passed out on the couch with the favorite toys of the day in hand.

So, cousin Ariah was "cleaning house" and gave this Dora jeep to Cruz. We keep it at Nana and Papa's house. He goes over there and rides it til the batteries are drained. Riding consists of driving in circles around a bush in my parents front yard. Pretty funny.

Ok, So I was never really worried about how Cruz would be with Shiloh...But I didn't think they'd melt my heart seeing them together! My goodness, this is what life is all about...

My beloved baby. I'll miss you more than you'll ever know. I know you are in Doggy Heaven, and you are running pain-free once again. You were loved very much, and brought much happiness to everyone you came in touch with. Just a sweet, sweet dog, who will be forever in my heart. Until we see each other again buddy...xo
